Meet the Doctor

Dr. Pasco Scarpella was born in Denver, and raised in Broomfield, Colorado.  Upon graduating from Broomfield High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1975, where he was trained to be a dental assistant, a dental hygiene technician, and a dental laboratory technician.

 

After completing a five-year tour in the Navy, Dr. Scarpella returned to Colorado and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology.  From there he studied dentistry, and in 1987, received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

 

Dr. Scarpella has National Board Certification, as well as Central Regional Board Certification, which enables him to practice in the State of Colorado.  Dr. Scarpella is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society,  and the Academy of General Dentistry.  He is currently president-elect of the Colorado Dental Association.

 

Due to his high standards for excellence and ethics in dentistry, Dr. Scarpella has been selected by his peers to a member of the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy, as well as the International College of Dentists.

 

He has four grown children:  Janna (a school teacher), Natalie (a law student), Julianne (an education major at Northern Colorado at Greeley), and Frank (a computer technologist).  He also has a grandson, Jacoby!   He has a beautiful wife, Karen, and they live north of Brighton.

 

His hobbies include writing, and composing music.  He is a singer with the men's a cappella chorus "The Sound of the Rockies", and he has three international singing medals.  He is an experienced actor, director and musician in community theatre productions.
